Hi I am J S Johnson. I started structural design in 1971 in UK in a large structural steelwork fabricators design office. I had the role of Chief Engineer at the World's largest Freight Container manufacturer involved in prototype testing and development.
Since becoming freelance in 1988 design work has been in many fields from Nuclear to Football Stadia. On the way I have designed and built many houses. The Church extension above is one example.
Moving to Australia late 2009 has led to other interesting
new fields such as tensile only designs.
